Programs
Choosing a Montessori environment for your child has many benefits. Known for individually paced learning and fostering independence, the Montessori Method also encourages empathy, a passion for social justice, and a joy in lifelong learning. Given the freedom and support to question, probe deeply, and make connections, Montessori students grow up to be confident, enthusiastic, and self-directed learners and citizens, accountable to both themselves and their community. They think critically, work collaboratively, and act boldly and with integrity. Learn more about our programs below:
Infants and Toddlers: (Ages 6 weeks- 3 years)
Montessori Infant & Toddler programs lay the foundation for lifelong learning by nurturing your child’s curiosity, self-confidence, and intrinsic desire to learn from birth. A Montessori environment offers so much more than childcare for the youngest learners.
Montessori Infant & Toddler programs offer a curriculum that emerges from each child’s unique skills and interests. Based on daily observations, teachers introduce new materials and activities that pique curiosity and stimulate learning. Learning objectives for your child at this age include developing skills such as language, concentration, problem solving, visual discrimination, and physical coordination.
Preschool (early childhood) ages 3-6
Montessori education is student-led and self-paced but guided, assessed, and enriched by knowledgeable and caring teachers, the leadership of their peers, and a nurturing environment.
Within the community of a multi-age classroom—designed to create natural opportunities for independence, citizenship, and accountability—children embrace multi-sensory learning and passionate inquiry. Individual students follow their own curiosity at their own pace, taking the time they need to fully understand each concept and meet individualized learning goals.
Kindergarten
Kindergarteners are introduced to progressively more advanced Montessori materials and sophisticated, fascinating lessons. They experience an important period in which their previous learning from working with concrete Montessori materials begins to become permanent knowledge. A Montessori Kindergarten student sees and feels their personal growth as they watch others learn information, they have mastered themselves.
Kindergarten is the culmination of the Early Childhood program. Children exhibit the independence, critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership that they have been practicing during their previous years in the Early Childhood classroom, exercising them independently at their own pace, as they prepare to transition into an Elementary program.
Elementary
Our Montessori Elementary program empowers children to take greater ownership of their learning. Lessons are designed to spark curiosity and challenge each child at their individual level, blending academic rigor with opportunities for exploration and creativity. The curriculum integrates core subjects—language arts, mathematics, science, and cultural studies—with hands-on projects, collaborative problem-solving, and real-world applications. Students are encouraged to research topics of interest, present their findings, and engage in meaningful discussions that build communication skills and confidence. In this stage, children deepen their ability to think critically, manage their time, and work both independently and as part of a team. They grow into responsible, motivated learners who are prepared for the challenges of higher education and life beyond the classroom.
